I think that photomontage is when you put many parts of a picture and put it in one image. Also it’s called a technique as well in art and graphics.

Franz Falckenhaus
Franz was born in Poland, Bartoszyce and always had an interest in photography, film and collage. Most of his work is digital and from a vintage illustrations. In most of his images most of the parts aren’t even related but the background is sometimes related to different things in the image.

In this picture you can see that there is a man and a cave, this might mean that he isn’t thinking of anything or he has so many thing’s he’s thinking about he doesn’t know which one to think about.
Halfway review

My work for this project was inspired by Hannah Hoch by using different parts of the body to make a random/ creative picture. I also like how I have used different sizes for the different body parts. I think that my research has helped because I wouldn’t of know what to base my photomontage on. I also like this task because I could use all the things that I like and merge them into one person/ picture. I think I could of improved the necklace and made the shirt smaller because I wanted the legs to be bigger but I think it looks better smaller. I also should of put the head in front of the football shirt so you didn’t see the colar of the shirt.
Final review

Most of my images were from football players/ managers apart from the beard which was from a cricket player. I have used Eight pictures in this image/ photomontage. For this i have started a new photomontage because I thought that I had finished my first one which is under the halfway review. I have used the polygonal lasso tool the most to cut the images out and used the move tool and the paint bucket as the background didn’t fill the whole background. I have a arranged these pictures in a funny way because there is the face of the Manchester United managers face with big eyes and a beard with the body of a very strong footballer. The personality is football and how there can be mixed emotions in the game. I think i could of cut out the the body of the footballer better because you can still see the background to the left of his right arm.
Impossible worlds
Key words:
Juxtaposition
Contrast
Scale
Layer order
Juxtaposition is when you collaborate landscapes and environments or people to create something bizarre and abstract.
This is Karen lynch’s work
Karen has used juxtaposition in different ways because in the middle picture you can see a farm and an orange, the orange could represent the sun or maybe a orange farm is below. the picture in the right has also used juxtaposition with the lake and the mountains with a planet and galaxy behind it, this is also the same as the picture on the left with the pool and the planet

World1

World2

Even though I have made the same impossible world as another artist with world1 I have still had to use my photoshop skills. I think that I could of cut out the picture of the girl more carefully because the background makes it stand out. But I think that I have used juxtapostion very well in this picture.
In world 2 I think that there isn’t as much juxtapostion in it compared to world1 but I think that world 2 is even more crazy than world 1. I think I could of added more juxtapostion by taking out the missiles and maybe add a round cat ball to represent a planet which links to the black hole in the cats mouth.
